I factory reset my cable modem unplugged it plugged it back in then factory reset each velop node and went back through setup. Each node has a light on top that gives you information about the device s operation. But the velop v1 led turn green at some point. Using a network analyzer the velops often remain connected even with a blinking red light.

If this is the primary node make sure it is securely connected to the modem. It could take up to a minute for the light on the top of the range extender to change from.
